Kibrom is a post-doctoral fellow in LITO, after having completed the MAIA international Master's degree and then a PhD thesis entitled "Artificial intelligence for image-guided prostate brachytherapy procedures", under the supervision of Alain Lalande and Gilles Créhange at the ImViA laboratory of the University of Bourgogne.
He joined the LITO at the beginning of February 2021 to work on the HOLY2020 project, regarding the prediction of relapse in patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma, in collaboration with the Hospital Sant Pau in Barcelona (Prof I. Carrio) and the University of Vienna (Prof A. Haug and T. Beyer).
More generally, he is looking for prognostic and predictive FDG PET/CT phenotypes in patients with different types of lymphoma by implementing deep learning methods.
